Care, cleaning, and moving, handled with quiet precision.

Cleaning, household staff, companionship and care, and moving, arranged by one discreet household team.

The household

An inked and watercoloured illustration of an Edwardian housemaid in a black dress and pale apron, carrying a silver tray of tea and fruit past a laid side table.

A well-run home rarely announces itself. The floors are swept, the kettle is warm, the boxes arrive labelled.

Maidene exists to keep it that way. Cleaning, dedicated household staff, companionship and care, health coordination, and moving: five distinct disciplines, each with its own people and its own standards, arranged through one point of contact who knows your home.

It begins with a conversation rather than a contract. We listen to how the household actually runs: who is at home and when, which rooms matter most, what should never be moved, and what has gone wrong before. Then we put it in writing, with the scope, the people, the schedule, and the cost, so nothing is left to memory or assumption.

You meet the people before they arrive at your door. Cleaners clean, carers care, and movers move; no one is asked to stretch beyond their discipline. When the household changes, whether a new baby, a parent coming to stay, or a move across town, the plan changes with it, and we return to it with you to make sure it still fits.

One contact
A single person who knows your home and coordinates every service in it.
A written plan
Scope, people, schedule, and cost, agreed before any work begins.
Reviewed together
We return to the plan with you and refine it as the household changes.

Caregiver services · Non-medical

Companionship and care, with dignity at the centre.

The morning begins the way they like it: the kettle on, the curtains drawn back to the garden, the wireless low. A familiar face helps with washing and dressing at an unhurried pace, then stays for the crossword, a slow walk to the end of the road, a letter written to a grandchild.

  1. 01

    Companionship

Conversation, walks, reading, hobbies, and accompanied outings, kept to the pace of the person rather than the clock.

  2. 02

    Personal care, discreetly

Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and moving about the home, offered with privacy, patience, and the door closed.

  3. 03

    Dementia-aware routines

Calm, familiar routines, gentle redirection, and the same faces wherever possible, so each day feels known.

  4. 04

    Respite, overnight, and live-in

Short-term cover so family carers can rest, and waking or sleeping nights when continuous support is needed.

Home health services · Coordination

Health at home, carefully coordinated.

The discharge letter is on the hall table. By evening the bedroom is ready, the prescriptions are collected, and the follow-up appointments sit in one shared calendar. Someone keeps the thread between the hospital, the clinician, and the household, so the person recovering can concentrate on recovering.

  1. 01

    Care coordination

Appointments, providers, and household arrangements organised in one place, with one contact.

  2. 02

    Medication reminders

Timely, documented prompts that follow the schedule set by the prescriber, never altering it.

  3. 03

    Vitals logging

Readings recorded to an agreed routine and shared with the people who need them, with consent.

  4. 04

    Referral to skilled care

Where clinical care is needed, introductions to appropriately licensed providers. We coordinate around their visits; we do not replace medical advice.

When you are ready, we will listen first.

Tell us a little about your household. We will arrange a conversation, then send a written plan. Nothing begins until you agree.

Tell us as much or as little as you like: who lives in the home, what feels difficult at the moment, and what a good week would look like. We will ask a few practical questions, then take the time to think before we suggest anything.

  1. 01

Tell us about the household. A short request form, or a telephone call if you prefer.

  2. 02

A conversation, at your pace. By phone, by video, or at home, whichever suits.

  3. 03

A written plan to consider. Who, when, and at what cost, set out plainly. You are under no obligation.
